Birth Doula Support

A birth doula is the ultimate resource for a positive birth experience. However you envision your experience, we are committed to supporting your family in achieving it.

We are proud to support births of any kind with unbiased knowledge and guidance, including home births, cesareans, birth center births, medicated or un-medicated hospital births, and VBACs.

Package Includes:

  • Two in-home prenatal visits to discuss your birth plan options, comfort measures, partner support and so much more

  • Access to lending library and other resources

  • 24/7 on-call availability beginning two weeks before estimated due date

  • Access to support via text through 12 weeks postpartum

  • Back-up Support: the Birthwise team doulas provide back-up care in the event of an emergency or illness

  • Continuous labor support in your home, birth center, or hospital

  • Immediate postpartum support and breastfeeding establishment support for 2 hours after the birth

  • One in-home postpartum visit to support breastfeeding, discuss birth, and celebrate baby

    Investment: $1300, payment plans available.

Full-Service Package

This package includes everything within Birth Doula Support as well as 18 hours of Postpartum Doula Support scheduled out in 6 visits to span the first four weeks following your birth.

Birth Planning Consultation:

As you prepare and plan for the birth of your child, Doulas can provide valuable insight into community resources, evidence-based info, and general birth expertise.

Let’s develop a flexible birth plan and talk through what things you can do to prepare for birth, as well as how to navigate the birth experience. We will spend a good amount of time planning for postpartum, so that you are set up for success in all areas!

Birth Planning Consultations include access to The Better Birth Guide, our proprietary ebook of information, tips, and resources.

Investment: $150 per 2 hour session in person or via GoogleMeet.

Childbirth Education

Childbirth Education is the foundation for an empowered birth and postpartum experience. You deserve to know and understand what is happening in your body and within your medical care.

We are so excited to be partnering with Milk Guide to offer our community another quality, comprehensive option for childbirth education. Jayde Wilkinson will be instructing the first three weeks of the series as we dive into pregnancy, birth plans, comfort measures, partner support, postpartum, and infant care. Kristen Szerszen, IBCLC of Milk Guide will teach the fourth and final class of the series, covering lactation!

Postpartum Doula Support

A Postpartum Doula provides in-home assistance to aid in recovery and help the family thrive in their new roles. Welcoming a new member of your family can be overwhelming, we are here to help assess and manage the needs of your family and check-in on the well-being of mother and baby.

We look forward to supporting your individual parenting goals and giving you more opportunities to relax and enjoy your new family member.

Care May Include:

Customized personal care plan geared toward your specific needs

  • In-home prenatal visit to discuss parenting goals and preparation for newborn care as well as postpartum recovery

  • In-home support including, but not limited to feeding support by breast or bottle, postpartum pampering and recovery support, assistance with newborn care, light housework, meal prep, and errands

  • 24/7 phone, text, and email support continuing 6 months following the birth

  Investment: $35/ Hour (3+ hour visits)

The Ultimate Postpartum Package

18 Hours of in-home support scheduled in 6 visits throughout the first four weeks following your birth

Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation involves a multi-step process to transform the placenta into capsules for consumption.

The placenta is collected immediately after birth and processed using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Method. Capsules are delivered to your home within 72 hours following collection.
